April 1, 2006 - The Most Bizarre Freebie To Date THIS WAS THE "APRIL FOOLS" EDITION OF THE $39 EXPERIMENT — NYLABONE DID NOT SEND A DOG TO ME VIA UPS, NOR ANY OTHER METHOD! Today is certainly historic in that it marks the most bizarre freebie received to date... The UPS guy arrived late, and I ran up to greet him in my usual (anxious) fashion. This time, he's holding a decent-sized box, and he hands it over, shooting me his usual gaze. I snatched the box from him and quickly made my way back inside. As I ripped apart the box, I began to hear a scratching noise, but it didn't really dawn on me at that point what was going on. So, I opened the box and what do I find? A small dog. Yes, that's right. A small dog. And yes, he was alive. Inside, along with the dog, is a letter from Nylabone thanking me for bringing them new customers as the result of this website. Anyway... I have to go feed Rudy Huxtable — and pick out a name for this new dog. Just what I need... another dog. Nylabone
